The production unit specialized mainly in crucial activities for the nautical sector, such as ordinary and extraordinary maintenance, seasonal storage and restoration of luxury boats, with a particular focus on large pleasure boats, up to 60 meters in length. The primary objective of the plan was to provide the region with a cutting-edge infrastructure, capable of offering high-quality services to a demanding and ever-growing clientele, helping to raise the standard of local offerings in the nautical field.

The aims of the plan aimed to create a true hub of expertise, capable of attracting not only boats from all over Europe, but also investments and professionalism. To this end, work was done to establish a network of strategic collaborations with professional institutes and local companies, with the aim of developing specific technical skills in the sector and promoting the growth of an integrated and competitive nautical district.

The expected results included the construction of all the infrastructure necessary for the operation of the shipyard, such as the sea dock, essential for access and mooring of large pleasure boats, and large parking areas for storing boats. At the same time, the acquisition of the most modern and specialized equipment was planned, as well as the selection and training of human resources, essential to guarantee an excellent level of service. Furthermore, the aim was to create territorial and corporate synergies to create an integrated production chain, capable of supporting and developing a highly competitive shipbuilding hub in the national and international panorama.

The results achieved have largely confirmed the initial expectations. The shipyard was successfully completed, equipped with all the main infrastructures and equipment necessary to start production activities. The planned collaborations were successfully launched, contributing significantly to the creation of a local nautical district of great importance. Thanks to these synergies, it was possible to start the maintenance, storage and restoration of boats, quickly consolidating the role of the new shipyard as a point of reference in the recreational boating sector in the region. This success has laid solid foundations for further future development, strengthening the image of Olbia as a nerve center for high-level boating.
